Terry W. “Hog Man” Brocious, 65, of Spring Valley died Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
He was born March 20, 1950, the son of Harry W. “Bill” and Roberta M. (Matson) Brocious.
He had worked at the former Woody Flood Gas Station, Piper Aircraft, Community Action and Clearfield Borough.
He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, his dogs and one pig, Katie. He was an avid reader and Los Angeles Raiders fan.
His van, The Mud Shark, made headlines in the 1970’s when it got stuck on the river ice for several weeks.
He is survived by a brother, Larry Brocious and his wife, Janet of Clearfield; three nieces and four nephews, Shawn Brocious, Sansa Warrick, Brian Gidney, Travis Ceprish, Sasha Ryan, Justin Brocious and Arianne Brocious and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Rodney L. and John H. Brocious; and a sister, Susan M. Frybeger.
Honoring Mr. Brocious’ wishes, there will be no public viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be announced at later date.
