DUBOIS – District Judge Patrick Ford presided over preliminary hearings April 24.
The following defendant entered a guilty plea.
- Melissa Ann Ellenberger, 34, Reynoldsville, pleaded guilty to writing bad checks. Ellenberger was ordered to pay $281 in fines, costs and restitution.
A warrant has been issued for the following defendants.
- Richard Allen Supenia, 51, DuBois, is charged by the DuBois City police with providing false identification to law enforcement and theft by deception.
Sufficient evidence has been found to bind charges against the following defendants over to court. Their cases will be sent to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.
- Nicole Helen-Louise Harvey, 35, Driftwood, is charged by the Sandy Township police with retail theft. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Jason Alan Shoening, 31, DuBos, is charged by the DuBois City police with terroristic threats and harassment. Bail was set at $5,000 monetary.
The following defendants waived their right to a preliminary hearing. Their cases will be sent to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.
- Denise Ann Martzall, 50, DuBois, is charged by the DuBois City police with theft by deception and retail theft.
- Paul Theodore Joyce, 79, DuBois, is charged by the DuBois City police with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, careless driving and one summary traffic charge. Bail was set at $2,500.
- Douglas L. Bumbarger, 42, DuBois, is charged by the Sandy Township police with assault and harassment. Bail was set at $10,000 unsecured.
- Shawn Michael Hanzely, 35, DuBois, is charged by the Sandy Township police with DUI and one summary traffic charge. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
