A string of bombings in and around Baghdad over 24 hours has killed seven people and wounded 56 others, authorities said.
In the first incident, a car bomb exploded in the Yarmouk Hospital parking lot on Tuesday, police said. The attack killed three and wounded 10.
A second car bomb exploded at an auto repair shop in Mahmudiyah, about 10 miles (17 kilometers) south of the capital, according to the Iraqi Interior Ministry. Two died and eight were injured there.
And in an third attack, a suicide bomber in car detonated near restaurants in southwest Baghdad’s Bayaa district. It killed 2 people and wounded 38 on Monday, police said.
