COALPORT – U.S. Rep. Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-05) has announced that the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA), a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has awarded a federal grant in the amount of $591,469 to Glendale Area Medical Association Inc. in Coalport.
“Having worked in a non-profit healthcare setting for more than three decades, I am very pleased that Glendale Area Medical Association has been awarded these funds to provide quality health and dental services to residents of Clearfield County and the surrounding areas,” said Thompson.
“Glendale Area Medical Association is very appreciative to receive a three year Service Area Competition Grant,” said Dustin Kunstbeck, administrator at Glendale Area Medical Center.
“With this grant, we will be able to provide high-quality health and dental care to our service area. The administration, employees, and Board of Directors of Glendale Medical thank Congressman Thompson for his continued support of our Medical Center and centers across the state.”
The grant was awarded by HRSA through the Health Center Expanded Services Supplemental Funding (ES), which supports community-based organizations that serve populations with limited access to health care.
