Mary G. (Frantz) Piestrack, 95, of Beccaria died Monday, April 6, 2015 at Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital.
Born July 7, 1919 in Parker, she was the daughter of the late Vergil V. and Mary (Jordan) Frantz.
She graduated in 1938 from Parker High School in Armstrong County and later from the Butler Business College.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Madera.
She was married in Cleveland, Ohio on Aug. 25, 1947 to the late John J. Piestrack.
She is survived by six children, Thomas J. Piestrack of Beccaria, Christine M. (John) Barrelle of Elizabethtown, Barbara A. (Wayne) Mosley of Shippensburg, Elaine (William) Washell of Shallotte, NC, Ronald B. (Nancy) Piestrack of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Joyce F. (David) Hannah of Portland, Tenn., and  two sisters, Martha Guntrum of Fordland, Mo., and Helen Hagan of Parker.
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Becky Hoover, John Barrelle, Scott Barrelle, Debbie Bush, Michelle Piestrack, Matthew Mosley, Benjamin Mosley, William Washell, Christopher Washell, Jason Washell, Emily Hannah and Andrew Hannah; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John J. Piestrack, and a grandson, John Piestrack.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., Ramey.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Zab Amar officiating. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Madera.
