DUBOIS – The DuBois Fire Companies will conduct their annual “Hose-Down” on Long Avenue and Brady Street around 8 p.m. Friday.
The “Hose-Down” is being done in conjunction with the Community Spring Clean-Up the following day, which starts at DuBois City Park.
There will not be any street parking on Long Avenue between Main and Brady streets from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Also, Brady Street from Park to Washington avenue) will be blocked off and traffic re-routed.
Businesses and property owners will need to have the gravel swept from in front of their buildings in order to allow the firefighters to do their jobs with the water.
The firefighters clean the street and the sidewalks during their “Hose-Down” event.
