Ronald J. Marino, 85, of South Hampton, NJ and formerly of Clearfield died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his home in New Jersey.
Born Aug. 24, 1929 in Clearfield, he was the son of the late John and Vincenza (Lombardo) Marino.
He was a 1959 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.
On Dec. 10, 1966, he married Erika Duemmler-Hammen. She preceded him in death on Feb. 16, 2011.
Mr. Marino worked as a senior internal auditor for many years with the Internal Revenue Service.
He was a member of the Medford United Methodist Church in Medford, NJ. He was also a member of the Penn State Alumni Association and a past member of the Nittany Lions Club. He loved Penn State football.
He is survived by two children, Michael Hammen and his wife, Debbie of Runnemede, NJ and Elizabeth “Sissy” Lynch and her husband, Jim of Marlton, NJ.
He is also survived by three sisters, Rose Dobbins of Wilmington, Del., Josephine Grohola of Clearfield and Ellen White of St. Louis, Mo.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home with Fr. Ross Miceli officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Clearfield.
