Jeffrey Scott Buck Jr., 18, of Clearfield died Monday, March 9, 2015 at the UPMC Altoona.
He was born Feb. 18, 1997, a son of Jeffrey and Pam Buck, both of Clearfield.
He always enjoyed hunting, fishing and race cars; but above all else, he will be remembered for helping others and enjoying life to the fullest.
He was a member of Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 and the Clearfield Borough Fire Department, where he will be sadly missed by all of his fellow brothers and sisters.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion, Katelyn Mitchell and their expectant child of Clearfield; his brothers and sister, Melvin Swanson and Mason Buck, both of Clearfield, Amanda Swanson Rhodes of Pottstown, Terry Blake of Northern Cambria and Justin Buck of Grampian.
He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Bertha Buck of Clearfield; his maternal grandfather, Robert Roseweir of Madera; his maternal grandmother, Beverly Roseweir of Clearfield; and numerous other family members.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Reba Buck and his paternal grandfather, Richard Buck.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School. Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield.
It would have been Buck’s wishes that in lieu of any flowers, memorial contributions be made to Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, 3321 Mill Rd., Clearfield, PA 16830.
