PIKE TOWNSHIP – Three area teens sustained minor injuries after an accident Monday on the Curwensville – Grampian Highway in Pike Township, reported the state police at Clearfield.
According to state police, a Curwensville boy was traveling east when he lost control of his vehicle on the ice-covered roadway. His vehicle traveled onto the south berm and impacted the guiderails; it subsequently overturned onto its roof.
The boy’s vehicle came to a final rest on its roof in the middle of the Curwensville – Grampian Highway. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts and sustained minor injuries, state police said.
State police were assisted at the scene by the Rescue, Hose & Ladder Company, Curwensville.
