Suzanne E. Collins, 67, of Olanta died Friday, March 6, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Collins was born Oct. 17, 1947 in Clearfield, the daughter of the late William and Vera (Boyce) Howell of Curwensville.
She worked at FCI, Clearfield Cheese, and Kent’s Sportswear. She was a Christian by faith.
She is survived by her husband, Duane, whom she married Aug. 17, 1968 at O’Shanter Methodist Church.
She is survived by three children, Duane Collins Jr. and his wife, Sheila of Olanta, Ryan Collins and his wife, Jennifer of Clearfield and Chris Hoover and husband, Jeff of Curwensville.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, Curtis, Ashley, Kaitlyn and Owen; her siblings, Becky Povlich, Richard Howell, Amy Keller and Roger Howell; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William “Butch” Howell; and her sister, Jeanne Anderson; and several aunts and uncles.
Per Mrs. Collins’ wishes, there will be no public visitation. Private services will be held at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Bockus officiating.
Burial will be at Thompson Cemetery.
