Lady Lions’ late rally falls short against Indiana in Big Ten Tournament

A layup by Peyton Whitted (Suwanee, Ga.) with 1:01 remaining pulled the Penn State Lady Lions (6-24, 3-15) within two points (62-60), but Indiana (15-15, 4-14) responded with a three-point play and a trio of free throws down the stretch to post a 68-63 win in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.
