Clearfield Borough
- Following an anonymous call, police located a vehicle stuck on a snow bank along South Front Street at East Walnut Street. The driver was allegedly found to be under the influence and taken into custody for the suspicion of DUI. Charges are pending the results of a blood/alcohol content test, police said.
- Police unlocked several vehicles for drivers who had locked their keys inside.
- Police attempted to assist the state police at Dubois with contacting a male along Daisy Street regarding a parking complaint in the Grampian area. Police were unable to locate the male.
- Police received a report about a resident who took a call about being a victim in a fraudulent case. He was informed that his name, date of birth and social security number had been compromised; he was asked to confirm all of his personal information, police said. Police said that the man refused to do so, as he believed the incident was a scam.
- Police were called to North Second Street for a disabled vehicle in the middle of the roadway, which was causing a traffic hazard. Police responded and assisted the driver with getting the vehicle off of the roadway.
- Police received a report about an unwanted tenant at an East Walnut Street apartment. The incident was civil in nature, police said.
- Police assisted with a disabled tractor-trailer along Bigler Avenue that was causing a traffic hazard. The Lawrence Township Fire Police assisted at the scene.
- Police responded to Bigler Avenue for a reckless driving complaint. Further, police said that a male was allegedly driving at a high rate of speed and when pulling into a business, he lost control of his vehicle.
- Police served a warrant on a male who was stopped by Lawrence Township police. The male had a warrant through the Clearfield Borough Police Department. The male was able to provide the amount due on the warrant and was released, police said.
- Police were called to East Market Street to check the welfare of a female who sent a threatening message about self-harm. Police were later advised she’d been located at the hospital seeking treatment for an overdose.

- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred at a South Second Street business.
- Police were requested to assist a motorist on Industrial Park Road.
- Police received a report about a single-vehicle accident on Supercenter Drive.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute that occurred on Park Avenue Extension.
- Police received a report about an alleged drug violation involving paraphernalia being found at a local business.
- Police received a report about counterfeit money from a business on Lowe’s Drive.
- Police received a report about a parking complaint at the Clearfield Mall on Daisy Street Extension.
- Police received a report about a lost or stolen purse.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft incident.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation that occurred on River Road.
Sandy Township
- On Wednesday, a 39-year-old DuBois woman reported that her ex-husband and his girlfriend were making derogatory posts on Facebook about her. Police handled the situation without incident.
- A 43-year-old Treasure Lake man reported that while his wife was at Wal-Mart on Wednesday, someone hit and damaged their vehicle.
- Police received a report about a man and woman in a truck at the parking lot of the Snappy’s Convenience Store who appeared to be physically fighting. The vehicle was gone before police arrival.
- A 32-year-old Erie woman lost control of her vehicle Wednesday on Rich Highway, causing it to go off the roadway. It subsequently struck two signs before coming to rest in a ditch. No injuries were reported, police said.
- On Wednesday, a tractor-trailer driver reported that while sleeping in her truck, another truck hit it and caused minor damage. Its operator, she said, then left the scene.
- On Thursday, employees of Dollar General reported having video footage of a known woman taking merchandise without paying for it. The incident remains under investigation at this time, police said.
