Men’s gymnastics sweeps Big Ten weekly awards

Following their performances Friday night against Iowa, Thad Lawson (Chesapeake, Va.) has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week and Alexis Torres (Catano, Puerto Rico) has been named the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. This is the second career award for both Lawson and Torres.
