CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough police have arrested William Scott Dimmick, 55, of Clearfield on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and stalking.
According to police, on Feb. 18, Dimmick allegedly entered a Clearfield business wearing a black ski mask over his face, gloves and a leather coat. Police said he allegedly locked the entrance door behind him and ordered a female to take off her clothes and to get into the back room.
As Dimmick walked towards her, police said that the female recognized him and called him by name, which caused him to stop. Police said that after conversing with the female, Dimmick left the business.
On March 4, Dimmick allegedly returned to the business but wasn’t concealing his face and hands. He allegedly locked the door behind him and again tried to pressure the same female into having sex with him, according to police.
Dimmick was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland with his bail being set at $25,000. Dimmick was not able to post bail and incarcerated at the Clearfield County Jail, police said.
Police also found that Dimmick was on probation in Clearfield County.
