CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Supervisors received three letters of interest from current township board members seeking reappointment and approved all at last night’s meeting.
Nancy Yeager was reappointed to the Zoning Hearing Board, term to expire April 19, 2018; Jerry Kaufield to the Joint Airport Authority until April 15, 2020; and Terry Duncan to Wolf Run Park Authority until April 2, 2020.
Police Chief Mark Brooks extended his appreciation to GantDaily, which contacted the department about publishing an active warrant list. Gant is working with area police departments to publish a list of persons with outstanding warrants, which is updated every Friday.
Code /Zoning Enforcement officer Debra Finkbeiner presented a request from Matson Lumber and Knepp Logging for zoning conditional use for timbering on Old Penfield Road. A public hearing regarding the Conditional use request was scheduled for March 17 at 6:50 p.m.
Supervisors approved pay estimate No. 9 to Diehl Contracting for $93,024.38 for ongoing sewage line replacement at Hyde.
The supervisors approved final changes to the Township Zoning Ordinance as advertised.
