Carole L. Boal, 72, of Boardman died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015.
Mrs. Boal was born Sept. 26, 1942 in Brookfield, Ohio, the daughter of Robert S. and Ruth M. (Peoples) Stauffer.
She was a graduate of the Clearfield High School in the class of 1961.
Mrs. Boal had been employed as a hairdresser and a representative for Home Interior, retiring in 2005.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Curwensville.
Mrs. Boal is survived by her husband, Ernest L. Boal, whom she married in November of 1961; three children, Kenneth L. Boal and his wife, Kelly of Duncansville, Barbara A. Panebianco and her husband, Rick of Ridgway and Michael T. Boal and his wife, Jeannie of Boardman, 12 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two brothers: Fred Stauffer of Deltona, Fla., and William Stauffer of New York; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Boyd Peoples and Thomas Stauffer; and a sister, Juanita Stauffer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Curwensville with the Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Burial will be in Fruit Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield and from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of services at the church.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Frist Baptist Church Building Fund, 1227 Susquehanna Ave. Ext., Curwensville, PA 16833.
