Weather forces cancellation of baseball weekend road trip

The Penn State baseball team will not play this weekend due to the winter weather covering large parts of the country, head coach Rob Cooper announced Thursday evening. The USA Baseball-Irish Classic, in which Penn State was scheduled to play NC State, Cincinnati and Notre Dame, Friday-Sunday in Raleigh and Cary, N.C., was canceled Thursday morning due to inclement weather.
