State police at DuBois
- A hit-and-run accident occurred Tuesday on East Main Street in Sykesville Borough. Clarence J. Craft of Punxsutawney was traveling south when he became distracted by using a cellular phone. His vehicle drifted to the right and impacted a parked vehicle, which was pushed approximately 33 feet and which came to a rest on the steps in front of the Grace United Methodist Church. Craft failed to stop and fled the scene. However, his vehicle became disabled a short time later; it was then located and stopped by state police. Craft was wearing his seatbelt and reported minor injuries. State police determined Craft was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested for DUI.

- Police received a 911 hang-up call in the Kerr Addition area. Further, police found a young child had dialed the emergency number.
- Police received a report about an alarm at a local business. Upon arrival police found employees had activated the alarm.
