PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP – The case remains open with charges pending against a 37-year-old Huntingdon man who was allegedly found in possession of a handgun and marijuana when stopped Wednesday on Interstate 80 in Pine Creek Township.
According to the DuBois-based state police, the DuBois Motor Carrier Enforcement Team stopped a truck for a state Department of Transportation inspection. Upon making contact with the driver, state police determined he was in possession of a handgun.
Additionally, state police said that the driver concealed the handgun under the rear seat of his truck. State police noted that he didn’t have a permit to possess a concealed handgun.
