Dates, site and times of District 9 Basketball Tournament games for the Clearfield boys and the Curwensville girls were announced over the weekend by the District 9 Committee.
The No. 1-seeded Bison (19-3) will be challenged for the Class AAA championship by No. 2 Punxsutawney (11-11) in Clarion University’s Tippin Gym Friday. Their tipoff at approximately 7:30 p.m. will follow the Class AAA girls title game between No. 1 seed Punxsutawney (15-7) and No. 2 Bradford (6-16).
In the Class AA girls semifinals on the Clarion High School hardwood Wednesday, the third-seeded Lady Tide (17-6) will play No. 2 Redbank Valley (17-6) at 6 p.m. Top-seeded Karns City (20-3) meets No. 4 Moniteau (15-8) at 7:30.
