CLEARFIELD – Mark Schultz of the Clearfield Area United Way and more than 75 volunteers announced at a recent meeting that the CAUW has reached its annual campaign goal.
This year the CAUW’s campaign goal was to raise $245,500. “We want to say a heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated,” said Schultz. “It will make daily differences during this entire year.
“Creating opportunities for a better tomorrow is our hope through the United Way and its 24 local member agencies located throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County.”
Schultz added, “We are still hoping that some additional gifts will be sent in to help the additional needs, which crop up.”
