Joan B. Neamy, 79, of Clearfield died Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born April 30, 1935, a daughter of the late John and Iva (Rolley) Bell.
Mrs. Neamy was employed at CNB Bank as a teller and then a branch manager. She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Marsh and her husband, Joe of Woodland; a granddaughter, Ciara Marsh; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Neamy, on May 3, 2012 and whom she wed Feb. 14, 1981 in Winchester, Va.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Duane K. Rowles, in 1972, and three brothers, Jack, Robert and Roger Bell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, with Father Brandon Kleckner as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s’ Association, 1128 State St., Suite 301, Erie, PA, or to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st St., Clearfield.
