EMPORIUM – The snowmobile trails on the Elk State Forest are in excellent condition, according to Jeanne Wambaugh, district forester.
The latest snowfall, she said, totaled about eight inches of fresh snow. “The cold temperatures we are having and that are expected will keep the snow from melting, and we will be out grooming to make it smooth,” she added.
