CLEARFIELD – Only a little more help is needed for the Clearfield Area United Way to completely fill in its campaign goal sign.
The CAUW volunteers continue to collect donations, as they are only $4,315 short of their $245,500 goal for the 2014-15 year.
“The United Way’s 24 member agencies are depending on support year-round to ensure it can continue to help others; we hope that people will step up and make a gift today, ‘Creating New Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow,’” Mark Schultz, campaign chairman explained.
Schultz added, “We hope that through area residents’ generosity, we will be able to announce at an upcoming annual meeting that everyone’s hard work has been rewarded and that the goal has been reached.”
The CAUW is accepting tax-deductible donations at 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830. Donors can also give through PayPal and learn more about the CAUW online at clearfieldareaunitedway.org.
