CLEARFIELD – CNB Bank’s new Wealth & Asset Headquarters opened its doors Jan. 12. The headquarters is comprised of a 2,500-square foot space with a restored blend of old and new.
Bank officials wanted to respect the history and character of this downtown building, said Eric Johnson, vice president of Wealth & Asset Management.
Its entrance at the corner of North Second and Market streets has remained virtually the same and incorporated the original marble floor and walls.
Additionally, bank visitors are greeted by a mural taking them back to Clearfield’s Main Street in 1895.
“It’s such a historical building in our community. We didn’t want to take away from that but did update as we saw fit,” said Johnson.
Inside the Wealth & Asset Headquarters, the former CNB banking area has been converted into state-of-the-art offices for the headquarters’ personnel.
When CNB opened its new banking center in March of 2014, Johnson said it immediately started renovating and restoring its former location.
“At one point, it was one big room until it was formed into individual offices, cubicles and conference rooms,” he said.
He pointed out that the vault door has remained to the former safe deposit box area. The space, he said, now houses the bank’s files.
According to Johnson, the new Wealth & Asset Headquarters will enable it to improve its overall services and grow.
With personnel having individual offices, he said it will create a more “personal” setting for meetings with clients.
He said it will also enable growth with the headquarters becoming more visible within the local community.
“We offer services that people are in need of,” said Johnson. “It’s important they know that we are here and able to help them.”
He said that the Wealth & Asset Headquarters assists individuals and families with retirement, estate and financial planning and investments, etc.
“As business grows, our need for space grows. And, as our bank grows, our services grow,” said Johnson.
