DUBOIS – Penn State DuBois will present the program, “An Active Seat at the Strategic Table,” Feb. 12 at the PSU DuBois DEF Building.
Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. Presenter Sue Greene will begin the program at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $10 for Society of Human Resource Management members and $20 for non-members.
This program will highlight how to accomplish planning in a focused manner where all in the room feel confident to share their answers.
Participants will learn the importance of human resource’s involvement as a business partner in the strategic planning process, as well as how to solicit open and honest feedback before, during and after the strategic planning process.
There will be an exercise with the participants on best practices on tips how to generate trust and open honest feedback by understanding the stakeholders in the room will be a part of the program.
Finally, the program will include a discussion on how to come prepared as a human resource professional to a strategic planning session.
