CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Inc.’s Advisory Council recognized former council members, Patricia Schuster and Betsy Love, at their December meeting.
Schuster (left) and Love (right) were honored with an engraved plaque recognizing their nine years of dedicated service to the council. Advisory Council President, Nancy Smeal (middle), is shown presenting the plaques.
The council meets monthly to discuss the needs of older citizens throughout Clearfield County. Council members are expected to carry out three primary roles: monitor existing services to assure that they successfully meet the needs of the aging, advocate for meeting the continuing needs of the again, and assess and evaluate unmet needs of the aging.
