CLEARFIELD – Friday Night Live will be held on the main stage at the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre (CAST), starting Feb. 6.
“We’ve outgrown the upstairs room at the CAST Annex, so our next show will be held on the main stage with seating for nearly 200 [people],” said Steve Albert, event organizer.
He noted that “Thanks to overwhelming support from the community, we’ve decided to make the move, and we hope our audience continues to grow.”
Friday Night Live features the talents of local performance artists and aims to create a “comedy club atmosphere” with live sketch and improv comedy, musical guests, funny characters and audience participation.
Friday Night Live is organized by the creator of the Corner Concert Series and his friends. “We are looking for entertainers of all kinds,” said Albert. “This is an open mic/variety show and a great opportunity for anyone to take the stage.”
Friday Night Live shows are held the first Friday of every month at the CAST on Locust Street in downtown Clearfield. Admission is $4. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the show at 7 p.m.
