HYDE — What a difference a day makes!
On Tuesday night the Bison had one of their most memorable wins in recent history with a dramatic come-from-behind one point win over previously unbeaten Huntingdon.
On Thursday night the Bison had a mostly forgettable performance against another undefeated team, the Flying Dutch of St. Marys.
The Dutchmen weren’t going to be the second victims to the Bison this week, as they picked up pins in six of the first eight weight classes to jump out to an insurmountable 39-6 lead.
The only Bison to win out of the first eight was the hero from Tuesday night, Travis Ogden at 195. Ogden raised his season record to 14-1 with another fall.
Also picking up wins for the Bison were Josiah McClarren (8-6) at 120 with an 8-0 major decision and Noah Cline (13-4) at 132 picking up an impressive third period fall.
The Bison only have about 36 hours to lick their wounds and get ready for the 7th Annual Bison Duals, which kick off Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the Clearfield Area High School.
