Emma Jean Lansberry, 83, a resident of Tampa, Fla. and formerly of Philipsburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at Woodbridge Rehabilitation and Health Center, Tampa, Fla.
Born May 16, 1931 in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Bertha Ellen (Nuttall) Squires Sr.
She was a graduate of the Philipsburg High School. She was a homemaker.
On Sept. 14, 1950 in Clear Spring, Md., she married Delbert B. Lansberry, who survives at home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Debra J. Pierce and her husband, Victor of Tampa, Fla.; a grandson, Kyle Albertson and his wife, Tiffany; and two great-grandsons, Brantley and Wyatt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ricky T. Lansberry; five sisters, Dorothy Liliedahl, Kathryn Lindsey, Alverta Auker, Fannie Kutz and Marian McClain; and five brothers, Chester, Harry, Mahlon, Munson and Thryle Squires.
Private funeral services will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, Philipsburg, at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation.
Burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery.
