Diane C. Kuntz, 54, of DuBois died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born April 12, 1960, she was the daughter of Vernon and Kathleen (Crowley) Dunworth. Her parents survive and live in DuBois.
On Sept. 16, 1977, she married Bruce D. Kuntz. He survives
She was a contract liaison officer for Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape. Prior to that, she was the director of Passages, working there for more than 15 years. She dedicated her life to her work, taking care of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
She was a board member of the United Fund in Brookville, and most importantly, her family was the love of her life, especially her granddaughter, Madison.
She is survived by two children, Shannon Lathrop and Derek Kuntz, both of DuBois; a granddaughter, Madison Lathrop; and three brothers, David Dunworth of DuBois and Dennis Dunworth and Dean Dunworth and his wife, Cynthia, both of Grampian.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Montgomery and Pastor Sherman Bailey officiating.
Burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Kuntz would have wanted memorial contributions to go to her granddaughter’s (Madison Lathrop) college education fund that has been established at the First Commonwealth Bank, 5 N. Main St., DuBois, PA 15801.
