CLEARFIELD – An arrest warrant has been issued for Chris Lorene Turner, 51, of Clearfield for failure to comply with state requirements for registration of convicted sex offenders, according to District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr.
On Jan. 8, Patrolman Elliott Neeper of the Lawrence Township Police Department filed a criminal complaint against Turner. He charged Turner with failure to comply with registration requirements.
According to the criminal complaint, Turner was released from the Clearfield County Jail on Feb. 3, 2014. He failed to appear in person at an approved registration site within three days to provide updated information, as required by state registration requirements for convicted sex offenders.
Turner’s last known address was on North Findley Street, Punxsutawney. However, it has been determined that Turner no longer resides at that address.
Turner is described as a Caucasian male who stands 6 feet, 1-inch tall. He has white hair and hazel eyes.
Shaw stated that anyone with knowledge of Turner’s location is asked to call the Clearfield County Crime Stoppers at 800-376-4700. All calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential.
