MEADVILLE — After the first day of the 36th Annual Tool City wrestling tournament, the Clearfield Bison wrestling team sits in third place and will send five wrestlers in to Saturday’s semifinals.
Eight other Bisons are still alive in the consolation bracket.
Heading to the semis are Josiah McClarren at 120, Noah Cline at 132, Luke McGonigal at 145, Tallin Norris at 152, and Travis Ogden at 195.
General McLane leads the team race with 94.5 points. In second is Boiling Springs with 74 and Clearfield with 70 is a close third out of 15 teams.
