Earl G. Stover, 87, of Falls Creek died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at Christ the King Manor.
Born Nov. 30, 1927 in DuBois, he was the son of the late Frank and Iva (Marshall) Stover.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II.
On June 6, 1978 in Falls Creek, he married Karen I. (Boboige) Stover. She survives.
He retired as the assistant manager at the Wine & Spirits Shoppe in DuBois after 17 years of service.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna Detwiler of Tyrone; a step-daughter, Bobbie Jo Tamburlin of Perry, Ohio; a step-son, Scott Morse of Falls Creek; a sister, Marjorie Zumstein of Graham, Wash.; one granddaughter, Merissa; and two step-grandsons, Tyler and Joshua.
He was preceded in death by his children, Suzanne McBride and Bradley Stover; one sister, Virginia Nolder; and three brothers, Howard, LeRoy and Lloyd Stover.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
