State police at Clearfield
- An unauthorized use of a motor vehicle occurred Monday on Main Street in Coalport Borough. During the incident, a 30-year-old Coalport man allegedly took the victim’s vehicle without permission. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
- An incident of harassment occurred Dec. 24 on Grassflat Avenue in Cooper Township. During the incident, a 27-year-old Clearfield woman allegedly struck the victim two times. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
- An incident of theft occurred sometime Sunday or Monday on Bell Lane in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed four bags of garbage from cans located next to the victim’s front porch. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- An incident of theft and criminal mischief occurred sometime between Dec. 24 and Monday at a Pennsylvania Game Commission parking area along the Quehanna Highway in Karthaus. During the incident, someone allegedly removed the level indictor to a fuel tank and syphoned approximately 117 gallons of fuel from the tank. The total value of the stolen fuel is approximately $400; damage is approximately $50, state police said. State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of theft by unlawful taking occurred Dec. 13 on North Second Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, the victim ordered a 10-ounce bar of silver online, which was mailed and delivered to him. However, someone allegedly opened the victim’s mailbox and removed the package containing the silver bar. Total value of the stolen silver bar is $188.27, state police said.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Dec. 26 on East Pine Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly threw a board against the victim’s window, causing it to break. State police a Ridgway
- An incident of theft occurred sometime between Nov. 20 and Dec. 17 on Old Byrnedale Road in Jay Township. During the incident, a 46-year-old Benezette man allegedly removed several items of jewelry from the victim’s jewelry box. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about a missing person on Monday. Further, a Clearfield man reported that he’d permitted a 35-year-old Clearfield woman to use his vehicle that morning. When she did not return the vehicle, the man became concerned about her safety. Police were later advised by the man that he’d made contact with the woman and didn’t any longer need their assistance in locating her.
- Police and the Clearfield Fire Department were dispatched to an automated fire alarm Monday at CNB Bank. Upon investigation it was determined to be a false alarm.
- On Monday, a Clearfield man reported the theft of $50 cash and a Fullington’s corporate card from his vehicle.
