State police at DuBois
- An incident of theft occurred sometime Dec. 17-18 on Route 219 in Snyder Township. During the incident, the victim allegedly made approximately $600 worth of online purchases and sent them to the incorrect address. Multiple delivery agencies dropped off the packages at different times, state police said, indicating someone allegedly took the packages without permission to do so. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Dec. 17 on North Ninth Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly threw a rock through the front window of a residence.
- An incident of harassment occurred Monday at the Philipsburg-Osceola High School in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, two female students allegedly targeted a male student. One female, state police said, allegedly assaulted the victim by pulling his hair and punching and slapping him about his head. A few minutes later in the hallway, a second female allegedly went after the victim to slap and punch him in the face and head. Both females will be cited through the district court.
State police at Ridgway
- An incident of theft by deception occurred Sunday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Fox Township. During the incident, a 39-year-old Smethport man was allegedly observed selecting two Simmons laser ranger finders and returning them at the service counter for cash on a Wal-Mart gift card. The man has been charged through the district court, state police said.
- An incident of theft by deception occurred Dec. 18 at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Fox Township. During the incident, a 20-year-old Cyclone man was allegedly observed selecting two electric razors, taking them to the night shift checkout register and returning them for cash on a Wal-Mart gift card. The man has been charged through the district court, state police said.
- An incident of simple assault occurred Tuesday on Ohio Street in Highland Township. During the incident, a 36-year-old Kane man allegedly engaged in an argument in which he threatened the victim’s life with a knife. Charges have been filed against the man who has been lodged in the Elk County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Clearfield Borough
- Police assisted a motorist with gaining access to their locked vehicle.
- Police responded to a vehicle accident along East Walnut Street. One person was injured and a vehicle required towing services, police said.
- A male who walked into the police station reported that he was homeless and in need of a place to stay. Police were able to assist him with getting to the Men’s Shelter.
- Police received a report about a child who was to be dropped off by a school bus; however, their parents were not at home to take custody of the child. Police attempted to make contact with the parents with negative results. This child was then transported to the Clearfield Borough police station, where a parent arrived shortly and took custody of the child.
- Police responded to a report about an individual being locked out of her apartment. After confirming the female was the legal resident, police were able to assist her with gaining entry into her apartment.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft from a motor vehicle that was parked near the intersection of North Third and Reed streets. Upon investigation police found that a wallet, which contained money and cards, had been taken from the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield Borough police.
- Police received a report about possible gunshots in the area of West Locust Street. Upon arrival police found that an adult male was setting off fireworks for his grandson.
- Police received a noise complaint that occurred at an East Locust Street apartment. Police warned the occupants that if the noise continued, they would have a citation filed against them.

- Police received a report about an accident on Airport Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief on Clover Hill Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft that occurred on Supercenter Drive.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft incident that occurred on Supercenter Drive.
- Police received a report about a residential alarm on Sierra Lane.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment.
- Police received a report about an alleged drunken motorist who was exiting Interstate 80.
- Police received a report about a gas drive-off at a local business.
- Police received a report about a disabled vehicle on Route 879.
- Police received a report about a minor, two-vehicle accident at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of careless driving.
- Police received a report about an alleged DUI in the area of I-80 and Route 879. Upon arrival police searched the area but couldn’t locate the vehicle.
- Police served an arrest warrant in the East End area.
- Police received a report about a possible overdose/disorder at a residence in Hillsdale. Further, an individual was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
- Police received a report about two school buses being struck by vehicles. No injuries were reported, police said.
- Police received reports about two motor vehicle accidents without injuries.
