State police at DuBois
- On Saturday, state police stopped a known 36-year-old DuBois woman on Route 219 in Brockway Borough. She was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. She was subsequently placed under arrest for suspected DUI and found in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. Charges are currently pending analysis, state police said.
- An incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred Saturday on Reed Street in Falls Creek Borough. During the incident, the victim started his vehicle and returned to his residence for approximately five minutes; upon his return, he discovered Coca Cola Inc.’s Panasonic laptop was missing, along with two packs of Marlboro cigarettes and a pair of gloves. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
- An incident of DUI occurred Saturday on Route 219 at the Crenshaw VFW in Snyder Township. Further, a 23-year-old Brockway man was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested for DUI and charges will be filed through the district court.
- An accident occurred Sunday on the Greenville Pike in Bloom Township. Further, Elizabeth Durnell of DuBois was traveling eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed. State police were assisted by Brady Township and DuSan Emergency Medical Services and the Grampian Fire Department.
State police at Ridgway
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Sunday on Boggy Run Road in Horton Township. During the incident, a 30-year-old Brockway woman allegedly damaged the interior of the victim’s vehicle. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
Clearfield Borough
- Police attempted to contact a West Market Street resident regarding an altercation involving her son. However, police were unable to make contact.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with an alarm and an unsecured door at a business.
- Police were notified by an individual that they had lost a set of keys in the West Side area.
- Police handled a harassment complaint that was reported by a resident along West Locust Street.
- Police responded to River Road for a report about an intoxicated male who was lying on the sidewalk. Upon arrival police were unable to locate anyone.
- Police assisted emergency personnel at a residence along Clearfield Street.
- Police received a report about a bicycle that was stolen while it was sitting at a residence along Williams Street.
- Police responded to South Second Street regarding a mental health issue. Police were able to handle the situation at the scene.
- Police were called to East Sixth Street for a minor accident. Upon arrival the individuals involved were already exchanging the appropriate information and police services were no longer needed.
- Police received a report about a driver who was traveling on Bigler Avenue and who was swerving due an apparent distraction. Police made contact with the driver later on in the day and advised them of the complaint.
- Police assisted an individual with unlocking their vehicle along East Market Street.
- Police were called to check the welfare of a resident along South Third Street. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment involving two roommates. Further, police advised them to cease contact with each other.
- Police received a report about a property dispute on Bowman’s Hill Road. Further, police determined the incident was civil in nature.
- Police received a parking complaint that occurred at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School.
- Police received a report about a missing vehicle. It had been involved in an accident and parked at a local business until it could be removed; however, it was reported as no longer being parked at its location. Upon arrival police located the vehicle.
- Police received a report about the alleged theft of money that occurred at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. During the incident, someone allegedly took a purse and removed money before returning it. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
- Police received a report about a civil issue on Bowman’s Hill Road.
- Police received a report about a phone scam that occurred in the area of the Bloomington-Glen Richey Highway. Residents are reminded not to provide any personal information over the phone.
- Police received a report about the alleged theft of medications that occurred in the area of Hotel Heights.
- Police responded to the area of Flood and Hollow roads for a bus being stuck on the icy roadway.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred at the Lawrence Park Village Apartments. During the incident, someone allegedly threw an object at an apartment door. Upon arrival police searched the area with negative contact.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct at a local bar. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.

- Police received a report about a suspicious person who was sitting along the Krebs and Clearfield – Glen Richey highways. The person was gone upon police arrival.

- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct that occurred at a business on Daisy Street Extension.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct at the Lawrence Park Village Apartments.
- Police responded to an alarm at a local business. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
DuBois City
- On Friday, police received a report about an alarm at the ATM machine on the Penn State DuBois campus. Upon arrival police were unable to detect any signs of foul play.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic disturbance between a man and his wife on Friday in the first block of North Jared Street. She took their daughter and left for the evening; no arrests were made as a result of the incident, police said.
- On Saturday, someone allegedly took a white 2009 Chevrolet Impala from the first block of West Long Avenue. Police located the vehicle a short time later in the 200 block of South Jared Street. It was noted that police have a suspect.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic disturbance involving a husband and wife and her friend that occurred Saturday in the 300 block of South State Street. Upon arrival police found all three screaming at each other and to be intoxicated. The husband and wife agreed to keep the noise down and to get along; the friend agreed to leave the residence, police said.
- On Saturday, police received a report from a DuBois man who was selling an item on Pennswoods. Further, he was contacted by a Texas resident who allegedly sent him a check for too much money. He was asked to cash the check and send an amount back via Western Union. The man, however, didn’t do so, police said, noting this is scam involving fraudulent checks.
- Police received a report about a residential alarm Saturday in the 100 block of East Washington Avenue. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK at the residence.
- On Sunday, someone allegedly stole a bicycle from a residence in the first block of East Long Avenue. Police located the bicycle while on another call at a residence in the 100 block of South Brady Street. Police returned the bicycle to its owner and will file charges.
- On Sunday, someone allegedly stole a bicycle from inside a garage on Valley Avenue. It was a girl’s bicycle that was silver, white and pink in color. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
