PHILIPSBURG – The state police at Philipsburg would like to warn Centre County residents regarding a phone scam.
According to state police, scammers have been calling residents and advising their electric will be turned off if they don’t send money immediately. Any resident who receives such a phone call is urged to contact their electric provider.
