Norma J. Covin, 65, of Frenchville died Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.
Born June 18, 1949 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Harold L. “Bob” and Twila M. “Pud” (Teats) Ditty. She’s survived by her companion, Paul J. Tarachako Jr., who resides at home. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Harold Ditty and a brother, Carl Ditty.
Along with her companion, Ms. Covin is survived by two sons, Bruce E. Covin and his wife, Christine of Jeannette and Paul L. Covin and his companion, Lori Bayura of Ruffsdale.
She is survived by four sisters, Barb Gohlinghorst and her husband, Jim of Joppatown, Md., Hazel Ellenberger and her husband, Jerry of Emporium, Marge Gaines and her husband, Early “Bobby” of Pottersdale and Violet Witherite and her husband, Thurman of Pine Glen and two brothers, Larry Ditty and his wife, Jean of Renovo and Darwin Ditty and his wife, Mary of Danville.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Vincent Covin, Trevor Covin, Parker Covin, Ashlee Covin and Lauren Bayura and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
