CNB Promotes Ryan to VP/Mortgage Lending

CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotion of Eileen F. Ryan to the position of vice president/mortgage lending.

In her position, Ryan specializes in the development and monitoring of real estate products and programs, oversees the mortgage underwriting process, develops business opportunities with realtors, attorneys and closing companies, provides mortgage training and works with lending staff of 39 branch offices of CNB Bank, ERIEBANK and FCBank.

She works with auditors and examiners to ensure the bank remains compliant in the mortgage division.  She also serves as assistant risk officer for the CNB Financial Corp.’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program.

Ryan has 22 years of banking experience and joined CNB in 2008 as assistant vice president/mortgage lending.

“Eileen’s hard work and dedication have been instrumental in our growth and development,” said Bower. “Her well-rounded background and expertise in mortgage lending are vital to the bank’s strategic growth and have led to this much deserved promotion.”

A native of Milwaukee, Wis., and raised in Clearfield, Ryan graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1992 and, in 1996, earned her Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a dual major of finance and economics from Shippensburg University.

In August of 2000, she graduated with honors from the Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking. She has also continued her banking education by completing numerous workshops and courses offered through the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp., the American Banker’s Association, the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association and Professional Bank Services.

Ryan is a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Clearfield and serves as vice president of the parish council.  She is a member of the Evangelization Committee and the Deacon Continuum Committee.

Ryan volunteers her time with the Clearfield County Chapter of the American Cancer Society and has served as past president, co-chair of Daffodil Days, accounting chairperson for the Mr. Gridiron event and CNB team captain and accounting chairperson for the annual Relay for Life 24-hour cancer walk.
