DUBOIS – The Penn State DuBois Campus Choir, under the direction of senior instructor of music Paul Fehrenbach, will perform a variety of holiday favorites during the annual Christmas Concert, scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 3, in the Hiller Auditorium. The show is free and open to the public. This show has been rescheduled from its original date of Dec. 2.
This year’s concert will include popular holiday songs with accompaniment on violin, piano and guitar as well as featured solos by some members of the choir.
“The program will consist of a number of choral arrangements that include some familiar and some not so familiar Christmas songs that will provide an assortment of holiday moods for the audience,” said Fehrenbach.
“There will also be some solo numbers sung by the students in the group who are quite talented and are quite anxious to perform for the concert audience. Faculty and staff who are members of the ensemble will perform violin, guitar and piano arrangements of some popular Christmas carols as well. All in all, it will be a very pleasant Wednesday evening that will get the holiday season off in a good way.”
