BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – A 16-year-old Allport boy was reportedly under the influence of alcohol when his Dodge Dakota overturned and collided with a Shiloh Road residence on Friday night, according to the state police at Clearfield.
The teen was traveling northbound and too fast for a left-hand curve in the roadway. His pick-up truck traveled onto the right berm and he over-steered to the left, state police said.
At that point, his truck started to rotate counterclockwise and to slide off the left berm. It continued through a private yard before overturning and colliding with a residence. His truck came to a rest on its roof next to the residence, state police said.
Upon investigation state police determined that the teen was under the influence of alcohol. He was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to Clearfield Penn Highlands for blood/alcohol testing.
State police said DUI and related charges will be filed through the Clearfield County Juvenile Probation Department.
