Peter M. Morelli, 59, of Penfield died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at UPMC Altoona.
Born Oct. 6, 1955 in DuBois, he was the son of the late Peter A. Morelli and Mary A. (Bleggi) Morelli. His mother survives and lives in Penfield.
On Aug. 7, 1982, he married Susanne G. (Lundgren) Morelli. She survives.
Mr. Morelli retired as an elementary school teacher for the DuBois Area School District after 32 years of service.
He has been involved with the wrestling program at the DuBois Area High School for more than 30 years. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, and he loved his family and living life to the fullest.
He is survived by three children, Dominic M. Morelli and his wife, Jillian of Sykesville, Mario A. Morelli and his fiancée, Megan Hoare of Reynoldsville and Geno D. Morelli of DuBois; a brother, Dennis J. Morelli and his fiancée, Lisa of New Castle; a sister, Rita V. Olszewski and her husband, Don of Penfield; and two grandchildren, Luca M. and Rocco D. Morelli.
There will be no public visitation.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Tri County Church with Pastors Brian O’Korn and Dave Bish officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
