CLEARFIELD – On Monday, the Zen Garden Salt Spa and Salon held its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony in downtown Clearfield.
The Zen Garden Salt Spa is locally owned and operated by Terry and Deborah Jordan. It will offer state-of-the-art whole body wellness therapy beds, massages, pedicures, manicures and more.
Main Street Manager Loretta Wagner stated, “This is very exciting for Clearfield. Not only is the Zen Garden Salt Spa a locally owned business, but this also serves as an opportunity for the community to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
“There truly is potential for growth and prosperity in our hometown of Clearfield. With that in mind, I would like to wish Terry, Deb and their staff success with the business.”
Clearfield County Commissioners John Sobel, Joan Robinson-McMillen and Mark McCracken attended the spa’s grand opening. The commissioners stated, “It is great to see a unique business like the Zen Garden open in downtown Clearfield. We wish Terry, Deb and their staff many years of success with their clients.”
Several other Clearfield officials supported the spa at its grand opening, stated Wagner. She noted, “It’s heartwarming to see so many different folks in town come out to support their local downtown business. The stronger the support is from the community, the easier it will be for Clearfield to revitalize itself.
“Hopefully, this sets the trend for all downtown businesses and the community, as we continue to buy and stay local and show support of our hometown. One business cannot pave the way for the town; it’s all of the businesses working together to support each other that makes revitalization possible. After seeing the turn out today, I am confident Clearfield is heading in the right direction. ”
