Elsie Lou Beveridge, 83, of Tyrone and formerly of Morrisdale, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014 at the Tyrone Hospital.
Born Aug. 21, 1931 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Alma Sutton Smeal. Mrs. Beveridge was affiliated with the Methodist faith.
She’s survived by her sister, Sally Smeal Cartwright and her husband, James of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and three grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Verbeck; two sisters, Ann and Nadine Beveridge; and a brother, Alex Beveridge Jr.
A public graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Grandview Cemetery, Morrisdale, with the Pastor Tina Hawkins officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
