State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Saturday on Reese Hollow Road in Worth Township. During the incident, someone allegedly threw nails and screws into the victim’s gravel driveway for no apparent reason.
- An incident of scattering rubbing occurred Friday on South Eagle Valley Road in Taylor Township. During the incident, someone allegedly threw debris in the victim’s driveway.
State police at Ridgway
- An incident of theft by deception occurred sometime Friday or Saturday on Montmorenci Road in Ridgway Township. During the incident, someone allegedly engaged in an online transaction in which the victim was deceived out of money. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a complaint about an incident of criminal mischief to an apartment building on South Fifth Street. Further, a tenant allegedly punched holes in the walls of his apartment because he did not like his landlord.
- Police have initiated an investigation into a fight that allegedly occurred on Spruce Street. The fight, police said, involved a 40-year-old Clearfield man and a 16-year-old juvenile.
- Police received a report about a domestic disturbance at the Spruce Grove Trailer Court. Cassandra Witherite, 23, allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with her husband, a 25-year-old Clearfield man. Further, Witherite allegedly scratched her husband’s neck and stabbed him in the chest with a screw driver. The man, police said, received minor injuries. Witherite was arrested for simple assault and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland.  Witherite’s bail was set at $10,000 and she was incarcerated at the Clearfield County Jail.
- A bicycle was turned into the police station after it was found on Reed Street.
- Neither injuries nor towing were reported after a minor, two-vehicle accident on East Cherry Street. Further, the operator of a vehicle rear-ended another parked along the street. The operator, police said, then backed up and continued down East Cherry Street. It was noted by police that the victim witnessed her vehicle being struck and followed the suspect vehicle yelling for its operator to stop. The operator of the suspect vehicle, police said, eventually stopped a short distance from the accident scene.
- Police assisted a disabled motorist on Park Street.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged attempted burglary at a Hyde residence. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief in the Hyde area.
- Police received a report about a truck driver who had left his driver’s license at a township business.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at a business on Plaza Drive. Upon arrival police located the vehicle and found everything to be OK.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at the Lawrence Township Recreational Park. Further, police advised the occupants to leave the park, which was closed.
