State police at DuBois
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime between Dec. 1, 2013 and April 1 along Holt Road in Snyder Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s garage and removed approximately $10,000 worth in power tools and a heating system.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of harassment occurred Sunday on Furnace Street in Huston Township. During the incident, a male allegedly punched and slapped the victim in the side of the head. The male, state police said, is being cited for the incident.
- An incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred Friday on Walnut Street in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered a vehicle and removed a leather bi-fold wallet, which contained a driver’s license, several credit cards, approximately $12 cash and some prescription medication. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
- An incident of DUI occurred Friday on Skytop Mountain Road in Worth Township. During a traffic stop, a male was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed through the district court pending blood test results, state police said.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between Oct. 10 and Oct. 17 on Hunts Club Drive in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly cut a fence post and damaged a lock belonging to the victim. The incident remains under investigation at this time, state police said.
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime between Oct. 1 and Friday at a camp on Westside Road in Black Moshannon State Park in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the camp and removed several antiques. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact state police at 814-342-3370.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Oct. 10 at the parking lot of the Port Hotel in Port Matilda Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly slashed the rear tire on the victim’s vehicle. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Oct. 9 in the area of Front and Pine streets in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, two adults allegedly engaged in a verbal argument, and at one point, one individual kicked a vehicle, causing damage to it. Charges, state police said, were filed through the district court.
- The investigation is continuing into the death of a 33-year-old Philipsburg man that occurred Saturday at a residence on South Linwood Drive in Rush Township. It was noted by state police that the man had ongoing health issues. The cause of death, state police said, is pending results of an autopsy.
State police at Ridgway
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime Saturday or Sunday on Crocco Lane in Jay Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s residence and removed numerous items. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact state police at Ridgway at 814-772-6136.
- An incident of criminal trespass occurred Sunday at a compressor room behind the Corner Market & Deli in Fox Township. During the incident, a known 35-year-old Kersey man allegedly entered after store hours and caused damage to several items. The incident, state police said, occurred while the man was intoxicated and charges are currently pending at this time.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a suspicious person at a business on Graham Street. Further, police were assisted by mental health and Children and Youth Services representatives.
- Police received a report about a 9-1-1 hang-up call. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft at a business on Daisy Street Extension.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft.
- Police received a report about a motor vehicle accident at a business on Daisy Street.
- Police received a report about an alarm at a local business in the area of Industrial Park Road.
- Police received a report about a found bicycle.
- Police received a report about suspicious activity in the area of Turnpike Road. Further, police checked the area but were unable to locate anyone.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a local business. Further, police requested the operator to leave the premises.
- Police received a report about a motorist who was allegedly DUI at a business along Daisy Street.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at the Lawrence Township Recreational Park.
- State police were assisted with a disabled vehicle, which blocked the Interstate 80 ramp.

- Police received a report about an alleged disturbance in the Glen Richey area. The incident, police said, was handled at the scene.
- Police received a report about a 9-1-1 hang-up call on Robinson Avenue that was determined to be accidental.
Sandy Township
- A vehicle driven by a 30-year-old DuBois man was traveling south Friday on Bee Line Highway when a deer ran out onto the road. The vehicle subsequently hit the deer, causing moderate damage to the vehicle. No injuries were reported, police said.
- On Friday, a 47-year-old Circle Road resident reported that someone sprayed Silly String all over his vehicle, causing some exterior damage. The incident remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- On Saturday, police received a report about a loud party in Treasure Lake. Police responded to the San Juan Road residence and could not hear any loud noises.
- Police observed the operator of a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed Sunday on Central Christian Road and Long Avenue. The operator, police said, traveled through two stop signs. When the vehicle was stopped, police found four occupants who were all under the age of 21 years and a cooler of beer. Police noted that two 20-year-old males were found to be on probation; a 15-year-old and a 19-year-old female weren’t consuming alcohol; and the 15-year-old female had drug paraphernalia in her purse. Charges, police said, have been filed against all four individuals.
- On Sunday, a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old girl pulled out of Harper Road onto Platt Road and into the path of a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old Keen Court woman, causing the two to collide. Both vehicles were driven from the scene, and no injuries were reported, police said.
- On Sunday, police were called to a Clear Run Road residence for an alleged break-in. Further, a 54-year-old DuBois woman went to check on a vacant residence and found glass broken on the back door, which was ajar. Police looked through the residence and did not locate anyone. It was noted by police that it appeared someone had rummaged through items that were left inside, but did not take anything. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- A 43-year-old Northwood Avenue woman reported hearing someone walking around outside her residence on Sunday. Police checked the area and did not find anyone suspicious.
