Robert Wayne Baker, 56, of Greenville, SC and formerly of Philipsburg died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 at his residence.
Born May 20, 1958 in Philipsburg, he was the son of Janet L. (Irwin) Baker, who survives of Haysville, Kan., and the late William H. “Zero” Kennedy.
Mr. Baker was of the Protestant faith. He was self-employed as a private contractor and a 1976 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Lynn Baker.
Along with his mother, Mr. Baker is survived by three sisters, Debbie Dellinger and her husband, Phil of Haysville, Kan., Tuesday D. Baker of Chester Hill and Vanessa Baker of Clearfield; three brothers, Terry Baker and his wife, Jane of Clearfield, Stephen Baker and his wife, Jennifer of Dover, Del., and Nicholas Kennedy and his companion, Sherry of Philipsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be private and held at the family’s convenience.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, Philipsburg.
