Ernest Fiscus Hill Jr., 70, of Murrysville died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2014 in Murrysville.
Born Aug. 29, 1944 in Wilkinsburg, he was the son of Earnest Fiscus and Dorothy Mae (Crabbs) Hill.
He was a graduate of the Mars High School and attended college in the Midwest.
Mr. Hill trusted and believed in the Lord.
He was a former member of the Latrobe Elks, the Manito Golf Course and the Penn Hill Senior Softball League. He was very athletic and an avid golfer who made golf clubs.
Mr. Hill loved animals, especially his cats.
He was a retired, self-motivated sales representative who earned many awards.
On June 30, 1989, he married Barbara Ann (Lutz) Hill, who survives.
He’s survived by two sisters, Lelah (Hill) Kanour of Apex, NC and Susan (Hill) Magyar of Severn, ML. and his nieces and nephews, Nicole Kanour, Cheryl Ferry, Julia Ackerman, Kristen Koenig, Lauren Magyar, Allen Lutz and Nathan Lutz.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Barbara’s Polish National Catholic Church, Houtzdale, with Father Scott Lill as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Barbara’s Cemetery, Houtzdale.
Family and friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Friday at the Birger A Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale.
Lill will hold a vigil for the deceased prayer service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
