Janice M. White, 63, of DuBois died Monday, Oct. 6, 2014 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born May 30, 1951 in Brookville, the daughter of the late Randall and Nevis J. (Cosmo) Zamperini. Her mother survives and lives in Kittanning.
On June 16, 1973, she married Terry C. White. He survives.
She worked as a radiology technician at the Toledo Hospital and the DuBois Regional Medical Center for many years. She also had worked as a beautician.
She was a member of Smithtown Community Church and a volunteer at Agape in DuBois. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making jewelry.
She’s survived by her son, Brian M. White of DuBois; a daughter, Lori A. Unice and her husband, Ken of Pittsburgh; two brothers, John Zamperini and his wife, Laurie of Reynoldsville and Randy Zamperini of Kittaning; a sister, Eileen Serene and her husband, Pete of Rural Valley; and three grandchildren, Kaden and Kiera Unice and Baylee White.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jason D. White.
There will be no public visitation.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Smithtown Community Church with Pastor Harold Hills officiating.
